I just received and put together the lights. Several places they state or at least imply that they are all metal. Which is the primary reason I purchased this set. Well, the most fragile portion and the one part you really want to be metal, is plastic. That’s the stake that goes into the ground. It’s a cheap plastic stake.I replaced some lanterns that WERE all metal, but they were the type you had to add oil. I wanted a maintenance free version, so I purchased these. I have dogs that run around the yard. They are forever running into the poles. I am confident that these won’t last long. I’ll post an update once the break and let you know how the company handles the claim. I hate complaining before anything negative actually happens… but they at worst lied in the description of the product at best the carefully omitted the fact that the most critical part is plastic.
